Dear Family & Friends,
“In everything give thanks!” We often read it; we often quote it; we often need to do it—sometimes it is easy but sometimes it is so hard. Since this is the time of year when we are thinking more about “thankfulness,” we thought we would just share a few of our “thankful” highlights with you.

Give Thanks — For God’s Miracle
Every day when we look into the precious face of our son, Micaiah (My-ki’-ah) Caleb, it seems like we are beholding God’s miracle. The energetic life, the joy and laughter that fills our home, seem to help us catch a glimpse into the anticipated joy of the Father and the Son to have us fill the homes prepared in heaven.
Give Thanks — For Our Little Helper
Lisa hears the chair scooting across the kitchen floor. The chair “driver” is little Micaiah with his “ladder” for reaching the counter or sink to help Mommy. Micaiah loves, canning, measuring ingredients for Mommy’s recipes, clearing the table, emptying the compost dish into the bucket, or rinsing dishes. Lisa says granola is his favorite recipe to make. Micaiah even tries to stir with two spoons—his and Mommy’s! Out in the garden, he seems to think that pulling weeds and putting them in buckets is play. (I guess nobody told him it was work to grumble about!) He eagerly “helped” Daddy sharpen his chainsaw, carry small pieces of wood to the truck, and stack the wood in the wood shed.
Give Thanks — When People Change Their Promises
It seemed impossible! It couldn’t be! Not after filming 70 programs. But it was true. We could not sell, could not give away, could not pay royalties, could not keep on our website the children’s programs we had produced. Lisa used felts in teaching the lessons and the felt company changed their promise about letting us promote their felts on our videos. God turned us straight about and bade us develop our own “digital felts.” It seemed it would take years to develop a set of graphics that we could use instead of felts. After all, it took the felt company 4 years to get 600 images painted and their images had already been drawn. We would have to do the drawing, the painting, and the producing. Within two weeks, two artists (one from Tennessee and the other from Denmark) arrived to begin the work. Many times and in some of the most terrible ways, the devil has attacked the work. But still, less than a year and half later, we have over 1500 images! Lisa thought she could never find anything more effective than felts, but she has experienced and seen in others’ experiences that the digital felts really work! You must check it out. Choose a digital felt lesson to watch.
Give Thanks — For the Impossible
For several years we have searched far and wide, tried this and tried that—but the outcome always came back to 19k dial-up Internet. And for our extensive Internet-based work this has been an on-going trial. But the “impossible” happened just a few weeks ago when a new high speed wireless system went up along the river. The signal bounces off the mountain behind our house—and this we can pick up! The owner of the wireless system had never experienced anything like it. He just shook his head in disbelief.
Give Thanks — For Coming Winter
Micaiah has enjoyed a few sled rides already this winter and he often points to his sled and asks for a ride—but we have to wait for more snow. It’s a good feeling to see the snowflakes floating down and know the woodshed is full and the pantry shelves are lined with home canning. But what about the real “winter”—the coming crisis and the end of the world? Are we prepared? You may enjoy John’s website: www.EndoftheWorldProphecy.com or Lisa’s children’s program with the new digital felts.
Keep in touch and God bless you.
In His love,

John, Lisa, & Micaiah Quade
P.S. Come back to this page in a few days. We'll be putting up more pictures and news!
